A workshop will be hosted by the developer team at PHYSOR2018 in Cancun.
The Nuclear Engineering Computational Physics Lab. (NECP Team) from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China will hold a workshop for the newly developed fast reactor code system SARAX in PHYSOR2018 in Mexico, on 22th April. We sincerely welcome you and your colleagues to join us in this workshop.
SARAX is a code system designed for the neutronics analysis of reactors and external source driven subcritical facilities with fast spectrum. Now, it is available for the steady state, depletion, transient and S&U analysis of sodium or lead/LBE cooled fast reactors and LBE cooled ADS reactors. This code system has been applied in the China Demonstration Fast Reactor Project and CIADS Project.
This workshop consists of three presentations. One is for the introduction of the code system and its development team. The other two are for the introduction of models and validation works. A simplified version of this code system will be released for free in this workshop with use training.
